Los metales pesados como el plomo (Pb), cadmio (Cd), mercurio (Hg), ars\u00e9nico (As), cobre (Cu), zinc (Zn) y n\u00edquel (Ni) son elementos t\u00f3xicos que, a pesar de estar presentes de forma natural en el suelo en concentraciones bajas, pueden acumularse a niveles peligrosos debido a actividades humanas como la miner\u00eda, la industria, y el uso excesivo de fertilizantes y pesticidas. A continuaci\u00f3n, se describen los principales efectos de la presencia de estos metales pesados en los cultivos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. <strong>Inhibici\u00f3n del Crecimiento y Desarrollo de las Plantas<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>La presencia de metales pesados en el suelo puede inhibir el crecimiento y desarrollo de las plantas de varias maneras. Estos metales pueden interferir con procesos vitales como la fotos\u00edntesis, la respiraci\u00f3n, y la absorci\u00f3n de nutrientes.
